IMD issued Yellow alert for Coastal districts
Udupi, May 25, 2021: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Canara districts till May 26 morning.
The forecast issued at 1 pm today declares thunderstorms with lightning likely at isolated places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada districts till May 29.
Meanwhile heavy rain (64.5 mm to 115.5 mm) is likely at most places of the three districts till Wednesday morning.
