Coast Guard rescues three fishermen

Mangaluru, May 15, 2021: Indian Coast Guard Ship Vikram rescued three fishermen off Kannur Coast on May 14 at midnight.

The Indian Fishing Boat IND KL 08 MO 2536 reportedly had an engine failure in face of impending inclement and cyclonic storm Tauktae.

The rescued three fishermen were provided with food and are in healthy condition, according to the Coast Guard press statement.

ICGS Vikram will hand over the fishermen to Assistant Director Fisheries and Coastal Security Police at Kochi.
