Goa makes COVID negative certificate mandatory
Udupi, May 11, 2021: Konkan Railway has asked the passengers to note the orders issued by the Collectors of North and South Goa districts making COVID negative certificate mandatory for those entering the state.
The order makes RT-PCR negative certificates (obtained within 72 hours from the time a passenger seeking entry to the state) mandatory.
However, the following categories of people are exempted from the above requirement:
- Residents of Goa, on the production of proof of residence
- Persons entering Goa for work, on the production of work ID proof/ letter from employer
- Persons entering Goa for a medical emergency, on the production of proof of coming in the ambulance
Konkan Railway DGM (PR) G R Karandikar has asked passengers to note the same.
