Shivayogi Kalasad to probe Chamarajanagar COVID deaths
Bengaluru, May 03, 2021: The Karnataka government has ordered an inquiry into the death of 23 COVID patients at Chamarajanagar District Hospital.
According to reports, 23 COVID patients died between 9 am on May 2 and 7 am May 3 at Chamarajanagar district hospital. After the media taking up the issue in a big way, the state government declared an inquiry into the incident.
The government has appointed KSRTC MD Shivayogi Kalasad, an IAS officer, to conduct an inquiry and submit the report within three days.
