Blood Donation Camp on April 30
Mangaluru, April 28, 2021: BJP South, Mangaluru, KMC Manipal Hospital in association with Sevanjali Charitable Trust, Mangaluru will organize ‘Blood Donation Camp’ at TV Raman Pai Convention Centre on April 30.
Hospitals are facing acute shortage of blood and the doctors fear that situation will worsen after the ‘Universal Vaccination Program’ kicks in, as a vaccinated person will not be able to donate blood for at least 60 days from the date of vaccination. Hence, the organizers have request people to donate blood and help the needy patients.
“You might be wondering; the State Government has imposed ‘strict lockdown’ and thus it has become difficult to travel from one place to another freely. If you’re one among those who wants to donate blood but have no means to reach the venue, we have got you covered. We have made arrangements for ‘Pick up and Drop’ facility. All you have to do is contact the number mentioned in the poster. Once again, we urge you all to gather in large numbers and donate precious units of blood to help the needy,” a press statement by the organizers stated.
