DK overtakes Udupi in organizing wedding on weekend curfew

Udupi, April 25, 2021: Dakshina Kannada overtook Udupi district when it came to organizing wedding on weekend curfew today.

As many as 372 weddings were held in Dakshina Kannada today. Of this the highest was 82 in Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) limits and the lowest was 9 in Kadaba district.

Going by the government guidelines which allows 50 people to attend a wedding, about 18,600 people were allowed to go out today to attend weddings in the district.
