Two houses damaged due to lightning in Byndoor
Udupi, April 23, 2021: Two houses were damaged due to lightning in Byndoor Taluk on Thursday.
According to the district administration the house of Machi of Shirooru village was damaged due to lightning. The estimated loss is ₹ 1 lakh.
The house of Mangala in Kambadkone village was damaged due to lightning. The loss is estimated to be ₹ 50 thousand.
Udupi district recorded 14 mm average rainfall on Thursday. While Byndoor recorded the highest 32 mm rainfall, Kaup recorded the lowest with 1 mm.
