Rishikesh Bhagawan Sonawane posted as SP of Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru, April 01, 2021: Rishikesh Bhagawan Sonawane has been appointed as Dakshina Kannada district Superintendent of Police.

Sonawane is presently the SP of Yadgir. A 2015 batch IPS officer, he had earlier served as the ASP of Bantwal Sub Division in Dakshina Kannada.

BM Laxmi Prasad, who is presently serving as the SP is transferred as Shivamogga SP.
Shivamogga SP KM Shatharaju has been transferred and psoted as DCP Traffic East Division (Bengaluru).
