Mangaluru, March 18, 2021: In a major sea-air coordinated operation the Indian Coast Guard intercepted three boats carrying rifles, live rounds and drugs off Minicoy Island today.

Sources said that the officials intercepted three suspected boats off Minicoy Island (Lakshadweep). They were allegedly carrying 5 AK-47 rifles with 1000 live rounds and also 300 Kg of Heroine.

The boats are being escorted to nearest port for further joint investigation.
