Udupi DC receives second dose of COVID vaccine
Udupi, March 16, 2021: Udupi Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh took the second dose of COVID vaccination today.
Assuring that the vaccination was safe, Jagadeesh asked the frontline workers, health workers, senior citizens, and people with comorbidities to get themselves vaccinated.
“I appeal to the frontline workers and health workers who have received the first dose to receive the second dose once they complete 28 days. Udupi district is in the second position in vaccination of health and frontline workers,” he said.
The DC requested the people to bring the senior citizens and people with comorbidity in their respective families to the nearest hospital for vaccination.
“Udupi is in 6th place in vaccination of senior citizens and people with comorbidity. The target is 1.51 lakh and we are confident of reaching it,” he added.
Additional DC Sadashiva Prabhu and other senior officials also took vaccination today.
