CAMPCO delegation meets Nalin
Mangaluru, Feb 26, 2021: With yellow disease threatening the areca growers, a delegation led by CAMPCO Ltd president Kishore Kumar Kodgi met MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and submitted a memorandum.
The memorandum told Nalin that the yellow disease was posing a serious threat to the arecanut growers. The memorandum requested the government to have a proper study through expert scientists for a permanent solution and also a loan waiver for the affected farmers. They also asked the government’s support to those farmers who would like to involve in alternative agriculture.
The recently held discussion organized by CAMPCO and Adike Bele Hitarakshana Samithi had decided to submit a memorandum to the MP.
CAMPCO director Krishnaparasad Madthila, Mahesh Chowta, Raghavendra Bhat were part of the delegation.
