Man goes on fishing, found dead
Udupi, Feb 22, 2021: A person who had left for fishing was found dead near Kaup in Udupi district.
Manoj (45) had ventured into the sea using a tube to catch fish on February 20 at 2.45 pm but did not return home. On Feb 21 at 1.15 pm, his body was found near Polipu Padu Sri Lakshminarayana Bhajana Mandira.
It is suspected that Manoj accidentally fell into the sea and died due to drowning.
Kaup Police have registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR).
