Hadavalli, the first stop for Mullai Muhilan in Uttara Kannada
Karwar, Feb 20, 2021: While many officials begin their duty with highlevel meetings or office visits, Mullai Muhilan who took charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Kannada just a week ago started it at Hadavalli village, situated about 170 kms from the district headquarters.
IAS officer Mullai Muhilan is posted as the Deputy Commissioner for the first time. He took charge from Dr Harish Kumar, the popular DC of the district.
Mullai Muhilan who visited the village as part of ‘Jilladhikarigala nade Halli Kade,’ today interacted closely with the villagers.
“I took charge as DC few days ago and have only traveled between IB and DC office. I have not been even into Karwar City. I have started service as DC from this village,” Mullai Muhilan told at the villagers.
“My dream was to become Deputy Commissioner and serve the people. I have taken charge for the first time as DC here,” he added.
He said that the program would help the people as the district administration reaches out to the public and asked the people to feel free to bring their problem to the notice of the officials and get them solved.
Bhatkal Tahsildar Ravichandra S, Incharge AC Sajid Ahmad Mulla and other officials were present.
