Regular classes for 6th-8th from Feb 22

Udupi, Feb 19, 2021: The state government has issued a circular on resuming regular classes for the 6th, 7th and 8th standard from Feb 22.

The circular states that the regular classes would resume for the students from 6th to 8th standard.

But in BBMP and the area bordering Kerala, classes would resume for 8th standard students and Vidyagama can continue for 6th and 7th students. However, the government has left the decision to the district administration. They can mark the bordering village, town or city bordering Kerala and decide on resuming regular classes.

Sources said that though Dakshina Kannada shares its border with Kerala, regular classes are likely to start throughout the district for the 6th-8th classes.
