Pinky Nawaz, accused in Deepak Rao murder case, attacked

Mangaluru, Feb 10, 2021: A rowdy sheeter was attacked by a group of six at Katipalla second block today evening.

Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar said that Pinky Nawaz (26) was attacked by Shakib alias shabbu and a group.

“Shabbu is involved in chain snatching and other cases and is also resident of Katipalla. The accused came in swift desire car and attacked Nawaz. Reason is not yet known,” Shashi Kumar told reporters.

“Pinky Nawaz sustained injuries. He is stable and out of danger,” the Commissioner told after speaking to him.

Nawaz is accused in Deepak Rao murder case.

Police have registered case and are investigating.
