Webinar on ‘’Role of NGOs in implementation of CSR‘’ held at Sacred Heart College
Madanthyar Jan 23, 2021: A webinar on ’Role of NGOs in implementation of CSR ‘ was organised by the Department of P.G studies in commerce and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Sacred Heart College Madanthyar yesterday.
Resource person Srinivas University Research Scholar Steevan DSouza explained the relevance of CSR in modern society, CSR activities, projects, programmes and schedules, CSR committees etc.
He emphasized the role of NGOs in the development of society and implementation of CSR in the form of promotion of education, poverty and hunger eradication to the students. Nearly 200 students participated in this webinar.
Pavana Rai, Coordinator, Department of P.G Studies in Commerce in her presidential remarks stated that it was every individual’s responsibility to be aware of such program. It would also motivate youngsters to serve the society.
Final year M.Com student Anushree introduced the resource person and welcomed the gathering, Deepthi proposed vote of thanks and Vaishali compeered the program.
