Bengaluru youth drowns at Murudeshwar beach

Karwar, Nov 29, 2020: A youth from Bengaluru died due to drowning at Murudeshwar beach today.

Police said that a team of eight youths had come from Bengaluru to Murudeshwar on Saturday evening. They had halted at the room. On Sunday morning six of them went to the beach while two preferred to stay in the room.

Manjunath Srinivas (20) of Peenya, Bengaluru ventured into the sea. Manjunath knew swimming but drowned in the Sea. Though the local fishermen tried to rescue him and took him to the hospital, Manjunath was declared dead.
