Shilanyas for Yajna Shala at Sri Varadaraja Venkataramana Temple

Mangaluru, Nov 18: Shilanyas (foundation stone laying ceremony) for the ‘Yajna Shala,’ at Sri Varadaraja Venkataramana Temple, Gurupura was held on October 18.

These stones were offered Pooja and blessed by Kashi Matadhish Sri Samyamindra Theertha Sripadaru.

The ‘Shilanyas,’ programme was led by Ganapathi Bhat. Temple archaks, management committee and development committee members were present.

The new Yajna Shala is being constructed as a Seva by Shenoy Brothers of Mangaluru and Bengaluru in memory of Lakshmi Devi and Gurupura Gunda alias Damodara Shenoy.

Charted Accountants G Hariram Shenoy, G Rajaram Shenoy, Temple Committee members G Panduranga Kamath, G Rajesh Prabhu, G Vishnu Kamath, G Pranesh Prabhu, Manager M Prasad Pai, G Vinayak Prabhu were present.
