New ‘Suvarna Chatra’ for Udupi Sri Krishna

Udupi, Nov 12: Sri Vishwapriya Teertha Sripadaru, Senior pontiff of Adamaru Matha and Sri Eeshapriya Teertha Sripadaru, the present Paryaya Peetadhipathi have decided to offer a new Suvarna Chatra (golden umbrella) to Sri Krishna.

It will be used during the Alankara of Udupi Sri Krishna every day.

“This is a golden opportunity for the devotees to join hands in contributing for the Suvarna Chathra to Lord Shree Krishna,” Matha manager Govindraj said.

The Golden Umbrella that is currently being used is almost worn out.
