 DCIB police seize ganja, arrest two including a Nepali

The two arrested in the case

Mangaluru, Nov 11: Dakshina Kannada DCIB officials led by Inspector Cheluvaraju B have arrested two including a Nepali citizen for allegedly trying to sell Ganja at Melkar.
Inspector Cheluvaraju B received a message about some people trying to sell ganja in a car in the road between B C Road and Mani.
The Inspector and his team who found the suspected car near Melkar bus stand questioned the two inside it.
They revealed their name as T P Farooq (50) of Bunder- Mangaluru and Sagar Singh (22) of the Dang district of Nepal. He is presently living in Mangaluru.
The two agree that they had come to sell ganja.
Police seized 1.480 kg ganja and also the car. The case has been handed over to the Bantwal Town Police for further investigation.
