Adani group takes over operations at Mangaluru Airport

Mangaluru, Oct 31: Adani Group took over the charge of Mangaluru International Airport operations on October 31.

The handing over was done by V V Rao, APD, Mangaluru Airport to Ashutosh Chandra, CEO, Adani Mangaluru Intl Airport Ltd and Behnad Zandi, CEO, Adani Airports, in the presence of R.Madhavan, B.K.Mehrotra, and others.

The airport is handed as part of development and maintenance under Public Private Participation mode.

Though the airport will be handed over to Adani group, the AAI officials will assist Adani Group for next 3 months. The AAI employees and support staff will remain with the group for 3 years.
