Gold worth ₹27.36 lakh seized at Mangaluru airport
Mangaluru, Oct 23: Officers of Mangalore Customs at Mangalore International Airport arrested a passenger with gold worth ₹27.36 lakh.
The passenger- Ashraf Mammed had arrived from Dubai by Air India Express flight No IX 1384 on October 20.
Ashraf was hiding gold in powder form in his body. Gold of 24 carat purity of 531.390 grams valued at ₹ 27, 36, 659 has been seized in the case.
