Ambika alankara to Sri Mangaladevi
Mangaluru, Oct 21: Today is ‘Lalitha Panchami,’ – the fifth day of Navarathri. Sri Mangaladevi is in Ambika Devi alankara. Ambika Devi is the wife of Lord Vishnu and dwells in forest and so is also called Vana Durga.
The alankara is very attractive with green saree. She holds bow and arrow along with Abhaya and Varada Mudra. She also has a sword and is sitting on a Lion.
The forest atmosphere is recreated inside the ‘Garba Griha.’
