Aksharabhyasa at Kateel on Mahanavami and Vijayadashami

Mangaluru, Oct 21: Considering the request from the devotees, Sri Kateel Durgaparameshwari Temple has decided to organize ‘Aksharabhyasa.’ on October 25 and 26.

During Dasara, on an average 500 children have ‘Aksharabhyasa,’ at the temple.
In the backdrop of COVI-19, the temple administration not only canceled the ‘Shesha Vastra,’ distribution on October 21 but also the Aksharabhyasa programme.

This had disappointed the devotees who requested the temple administration to reconsider the decision.

Considering the request, the temple administration has decided to hold the ‘Aksharabhyasa,’ on Mahanavami and Vijayadashami (October 25 and 26) between 6 am and 1 pm.

The event will be held by following social distancing and all precautionary measures.
