Konkan Railway conducts Swachhata Pakhwara
Mangaluru, Oct 02: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, Konkan Railway conducted Swachhata Pakhwara 2020 and awareness to eradicate single use plastic at Surathkal .
The programme was lead by Vinaya Kumar, Regional Traffic Manager, Mangaluru and Sudha Krishnamurti, Manager Public Relations- Mangaluru.
About 61 people including staff of Regional Railway Manager office, Mangaluru and staff and supervisors of all departments of Suratkal Railway station participated in the drive.
About 1500 kg garbage was cleared.
