Uttara Kannada records 158 new cases
Karwar, Sep 22: Uttara Kannada district witnessed 158 new cases and 7 deaths on Tuesday.
According to the health bulletin, Mundgod reported the highest number of cases (59) followed by Karwar (45), Kumta (15), Haliyal (13), Ankola (10), Sirsi (7), Yellapur (6) and Joida (3). No cases were reported in Honnavar, Bhatkal and Siddapur.
Kumta and Karwar recorded three and two deaths respectively. One death each was reported from Ankola and Haliyal.
