Karwar records highest number of COVID cases in Uttara Kannada
Karwar, Sep 09: Uttara Kannada district recorded 236 cases on Wednesday and two deaths.
While Karwar Taluk recorded a steep increase with 69 positives, Mundgod and Joida did not have any cases.
Ankola recorded 33 cases, Siddapur (32), Kumta (30), Honnavar (27), Yellapur (24), Haliyal (16), Sirsi (4) and Bhatkal (1).
Ankola and Honnavar reported one death each.
