Ankola records rise in COVID cases on Thursday

Karwar, Sep 03: With 38 cases, Ankola recorded the highest number of cases on Thursday.

Kumta which recorded 35 cases stood second. The total COVID cases in the district on Thursday was 181.

Karwar taluk recorded 23, Honnavar (20), Sirsi (17), Haliyal (14), Bhatkal (14), Yellapura (10), Siddapura (4), Mundgod (4) and Joida (2).

Death: One death was reported from Haliyal taluk.
