Bantwal Taluk records increase in COVID cases
Mangaluru, Aug 31: Dakshina Kannada district recorded 12 deaths and 270 new cases on Monday.
While Mangaluru Taluk recorded the highest number of cases (117) and 6 deaths, Bantwal saw a steep increase on Monday. The Taluk recorded 90 cases and one death.
The district also recorded a good number of discharges today. As many as 367 were cured and discharged. (CCC-2, Home Quarantine- 294 and Hospital-71).
