#WATCH I’m a public servant & not servant of the chair. If I had been a servant of the chair, I would have accepted proposal of deputy CM. But I knew what people sitting in govt would do to the state&I didn’t want to be a part of them: Jyotiraditya Scindia, BJP in Gwalior (23.08) pic.twitter.com/Jl7yskPR0Y

New Delhi, Aug 24: Five months after he quit the Congress party, BJP MP Jyotiraditya Scindia has revealed the reason for turning down Deputy Chief Minister post in the Congress government.
In the video, tweeted by ANI, Scindia is seen declaring that he was not behind power or chair.
Unhappy with the party leadership Scindia had quit the Congress along with his supporters, bringing down the party government in Madhya Pradesh.
He had later joined BJP which elevated him as the Rajya Sabha member from Madhya Pradesh.
Though Sachin Pilot camp too had expressed unhappiness against the Congress leaders in Rajasthan a few days ago, he, however, continued in the party.
