Section 144 in Udupi
Udupi, Aug 04: To prevent any untoward incidents in the backdrop of Ayodhya Bhoomi Poojan, Udupi district Deputy Commissioner has imposed Section 144 in Commissionerate limits.
On Tuesday DC G Jagadeesh issued prohibitory orders under Section 144 from 8 pm of August 4 to 6 am of August 6.
The order restricts activities like assembling of more than 5 people, carrying weapons and explosives, bursting crackers, and organizing processions or protests.
