COVID-19: 119 cases in Dakshina Kannada
Mangaluru, July 27: Dakshina Kannada district recorded 119 cases and eight deaths on Monday.
According to the health bulletin the district now has 2,502 active cases and 2,297 are cured. On Monday 80 were discharged from various hospitals.

Deaths:
1. A person (68 years) from Hubballi died on July 23.
2. A person from Mangaluru (64 years) died on July 25.
3. A person from Bantwal (65 years) died on July 26.
4. A person from Udupi (82) died on July 25.
5. a person from Mangaluru (65 years) died on July 26.
6. A woman (65 years) from Mangaluru died on July 27.
7. A person (51) from Mangaluru died on July 27.
8. a woman (92) from Mangaluru died on July 26.
All the eight were suffering from varioius health ailments and were also tested COVID positive.
