COVID-19: 85 new cases in Uttara Kannada

Karwar, July 26: The trend of the number of discharges overtaking the active cases continued in Uttara Kannada district. The district recorded 85 new cases and 90 discharges on Sunday. Highest number of 26 cases were reported from Haliyal. Joida and Siddapur did not report any.

Of the total 1,753 cases in the district recorded to date, 935 are cured and only 716 are active. Of the total active cases, Haliyal is the only Taluk which has more than 100 active cases. It has 272 active cases. Joida has the lowest with 6 active cases.
