“Lockdown is not the only answer to control COVID. Thus there will not be any lockdown henceforth in Bengaluru or any other place. I have also told this to the Deputy Commissioners of the districts. Instead of speaking about lockdown, they need to stress on ensuring social distancing and people wearing mask. However restrictions would continue in the containment zones and I request people to cooperate,” Yediyurappa said.
“People should follow social distancing and wear a mask. We need to take precautionary measures and fight COVID. Financial resource too is necessary,” he said.
