COVID-19: Udupi district records 84 cases

Udupi, July 21: Udupi district recorded 84 new cases on Tuesday. Though the total number of cases is 2,405 in the district, 1742 are discharged and only 653 are active cases.

According to sources 18 employees of a hotel were tested with Coronavirus.  Some of the doctors and staff of Kasturba Hospital in Manipal too tested positive. 

As a personnel in SP office tested positive, the SP office is being sanitized. 

Of the 84 cases 37 are from Udupi taluk, 43 from Kundapura and 4 from Karkala. Ninety two patients were discharged from hospital today. Meanwhile 196 patients are under Home Isolation.
