COVID-19: 109 cases in Uttara Kannada

Karwar, July 21: Uttara Kannada recorded 109 cases on Tuesday increasing the total number in the district to 1,272.

On Tuesday again, Haliyal Taluk recorded the highest number of cases. The taluk recorded 44 cases followed by Sirsi which saw 22 cases. Ankola is the only taluk which not record any case on Tuesday.

Of the 1,272 cases, 520 have been discharged and 742 are under treatment. On Tuesday 35 patients were discharged from hospital. 

As many as 43 cases recorded on Tuesday were the contacts of the existing patients.
