Janardhan Poojary discharged, advises people not to panic
Bantwal, July 20: Senior Congress leader and former AICC general secretary B Janardhan Poojary who recovered from COVID has asked people not to panic.
Poojary, was admitted to a private hospital on July 4 after he was tested COVID positive. He recovered and returned home on Monday morning.
Known for his bold and fearless nature which made him a confidant of Gandhi family, the 83-year-old former Member of Parliament from Mangaluru thanked all those who had prayed for his speedy recovery and those who treated him.
“Nobody needs to fear the Coronavirus. Be brave and confident. Strengthen your immune system and consume healthy food,” he advised in a press statement.
“People should be careful and wear the mask and maintain social distance at public places,” he added.
“Poojary ji is healthy and active,” Poojary’s close aide and KEONICS chairman Harikrishna Bantwal said.
