Now it’s only home quarantine for Maharashtra returnees
Udupi, July 06: Karnataka government has brought changes in quarantine norms again. This time it has done away with Institutional Quarantine and allowed only 14 days Home Quarantine to people coming from all states including those from Maharashtra.
“The quarantine norms issued vide Order No RD 158 TNR 2020 dated June 26, 2020, has been further modified,” the order issued on July 6 by Revenue Department Principal Secretary stated.
“Persons coming from other states to Karnataka, including Maharashtra, shall be placed in 14 days Home Quarantine,” the order said.
Other conditions as specified in the order dated June 15 and SOP issued on June 8 by the Department of Health and Family Welfare shall continue to be in force until further orders.
