Orange alert in Coastal Karnataka

Mangaluru: The India Meteorological Department has warned heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places in Coastal Karnataka during the next two days.
The department has issued an orange alert (very heavy rainfall) for two days (till July 4 morning) in all the three districts of Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, and Uttara Kannada. It is likely to be cloudy with regular heavy to very heavy in isolated places in the region.
Weather warning for Karnataka fishermen:
Squally weather with speed reaching 40-50 kmph is likely to prevail along and off Karnataka coast.
Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.
