Karnataka modifies quarantine norms

Udupi, June 28: Karnataka state government has brought some modification to the quarantine norms which it had issued on June 15.

“Persons coming from Maharashtra shall be placed under 7 day institutional quarantine followed by 7 day home quarantine. Persons coming from other states other than Maharashtra shall be placed in 14 day home quarantine,” the new order issued on June 26 by Revenue Department (Disaster Management) Principal Secretary states.

“The other conditions specified in the June 15th order shall be in force until further orders,” the order added.
