COVID-19: 33 new cases in DK, 9 in Udupi
Mangaluru: The number of cases further swelled in Dakshina Kannada district with 33 new cases on Friday.
Dakshina Kannada: Of the 33 cases on Friday, 15 are from abroad (Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar), 10 are contacts of earlier patients. One had returned from Udupi and the source of one patient is under tracing. Meanwhile, 4 with influenza-like illness and 2 with severe acute respiratory infection tested positive.
Udupi: The nine cases include 3 Bengaluru returnees, 2 Maharashtra returnees. One had returned from Kerala and 2 from abroad. The contact of one patient is under tracing.
Uttara Kannada: Of the six, 3 had come from Maharashtra and two are contacts of other patients. The Source of one is under tracing.
