Mangaluru: With the death of one more, the number of deaths in Dakshina Kannada has increased to 9. According to the health department of these nine, seven are considered as COVID deaths and two as Non-COVID deaths.
The deceased patient P-6282 was a 70-year-old person who was admitted to Wenlock District Hospital on June 10. He died on Tuesday.
Dakshina Kannada: The district recorded 8 positive cases on Tuesday of which four patients (P-9584, 9585, 9586, 9587) are contacts of P-8318. One patient had returned from Kuwait. Two SARI and one ILI cases.
Uttara Kannada: All the three positives had returned from Maharashtra.
Udupi: Of the total 11 positives, 5 are Maharashtra returnees, two had returned from Kuwait and one each from Dubai and Saudi Arabia. The Source of one patient (P-9595) is under tracing. P-9595 is the contact of P-2047.
