COVID-19: Udupi sees 22 new cases including 2 COVID warriors on Thursday
Udupi: After recording zero cases for two continuous days, the number of positive spurred again in the Udupi district with 22 cases on Thursday. Two COVID warriors too have tested positive in Udupi.
Uttara Kannada and Dakshina Kannada recorded 3 and 2 cases respectively.
Almost all the positives are from Maharashtra. However, in Dakshina Kannada district P-6118 is the contact of P-4186.
In Udupi district, 20 are Maharashtra returnees. Of the two others one is a health worker and another is a Group D employee.
The patients are being shifted to designated hospitals.
