It is likely to be cloudy with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers in the coastal districts of Karnataka on Saturday. 

Coastal Weather Bulletin: 

Low pressure area over Arabian sea:
The depression over south coastal Oman and adjoining Yemen remained practically stationary during past 06 hours and lay centered at 0530 hrs IST of today, the 30th May, 2020 near latitude 17.3°N and longitude 54.2°E, about 30 km north-northeast of Salalah (Oman) and 240 km east-northeast of Al Ghaydah (Yemen). It is very likely to intensify further into a deep depression during next 12 hours. It is very likely to move slowly north-northwestwards during next 12 hours and west-southwestwards thereafter.
A low pressure area is very likely to form over southeast & adjoining East Central during next 48 hours. It is very likely to move north-northwestwards and concentrate into a depression over East Central and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea during subsequent 72 hours

Thunderstorm with lightning accompanied by gusty winds speed reaching 40-50 kmph likely at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka from 30th May 2020 to 02nd June 2020. Thunderstorm with lightening likely to occur on June 3.

Kerala Coast: Squally weather with speed reaching 40-50 kmph likely to prevail along & off Kerala coast & over Lakshadweep and Maldives area.
Fishermen are advised not to venture into sea.

SPECIAL WARNING:
A low pressure area is very likely to form over southeast and adjoining East Central Arabian Sea during next 48 hours. It is very likely to move north-northwestwards and concentrate into a depression over East Central and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea during subsequent 48 hours. Fishermen are advised to avoid deep sea fishing activity over the region during May 31 to June 04, 2020. IMD is monitoring the situation and further developments will be updated periodically.

Day 1(30.05.2020): Squally weather with wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph likely to prevail over Southwest Arabian sea.
