Game On! Manipal Welcomes the 3rd Edition of KH-CCL 2024
Manipal, Jan 08, 2024: The highly awaited 3rd edition of the Kasturba Hospital Corporate Cricket League (KH-CCL) 2024 kicked off in Manipal with immense fervor. Organized by Kasturba Hospital Manipal, this three-day cricket extravaganza is poised to showcase the participation of 24 teams hailing from corporate entities, banks, medical associations, and media outlets spanning various districts of Karnataka.
The inauguration unfolded at the Manipal End Point ground, where Gautham Shetty, President of the Udupi District Tennis Ball Association, and Dr. H S Ballal, Pro-Chancellor of MAHE, Manipal, jointly revealed the prestigious trophy. Gautham Shetty, speaking on the occasion, underscored the vital role of such sporting events in fostering camaraderie and healthy competition among professionals.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. H S Ballal reiterated MAHE Manipal’s steadfast support for sports and extracurricular activities. He lauded Kasturba Hospital for orchestrating the corporate cricket league, applauding their dedication to creating an environment conducive to holistic development within the institution.
Distinguished personalities, including Dr. Sharath Kumar Rao, Pro-Vice Chancellor of MAHE, Manipal, Dr. Girdhar Kini, Registrar, MAHE, Dr. Avinash Shetty, Medical Superintendent of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, and Dr. G Arun G Maiya, Dean of Manipal College of Health Profession, were among those present at the inaugural ceremony. Additionally, Mr. Sachina Karanth, Head of Marketing, Dr. Keertinatha Ballala, CMO-Dr TMA Pai Rotary Hospital, Karkala, Mohan Shetty, and other senior management team members were present at the event.
The cricket tournament promises exhilarating matches and friendly competition from 7th January 2024 to 9th January 2024.
