Gandhi Jayanthi: Cleanliness drive by Uttara Kannada administration
Karwar, Oct 02: Uttara Kannada district administration celebrated Gandhi Jayanthi by organizing Swachta Abhiyan at Karwar beach on Saturday.
The 151st birth anniversary of Mahathma began with Deputy Commissioner Dr. Harish Kumar K offering floral tributes to Gandhiji’s bust.
Additional DC Krishnamurthy H K, Zilla Panchayat CEO Mohammed Roshan, Superintendent of Police Shiva Prakash Devaraju, AC Priyanga, and Tahsildar R V Katti were present on the occasion.
All the officials went to Tagore beach and participated in the cleanliness drive.
