Special vaccination drive for students and employees going abroad
Bengaluru, June 01, 2021: The state government will start a special Vaccination Drive for students and employees going abroad for their studies and job from today.
Some people are yet to get themselves vaccinated and few have received one dose and waiting for the second one. Further delay in vaccination could put them in trouble.

“The Vaccination Drive for students going to foreign countries to pursue their studies and those who need to travel to get employed in other countries will be launched on afternoon June 1st, 2021 (Tuesday, 3:00 pm) at the Administrative block of Bengaluru City University,” Deputy Chief Minister Dr Ashwathnarayan C N tweeted.
“Those who wish to get inoculated should possess visas, admission receipts, or any such relevant documents with them. Certificates confirming the completion of the vaccination will also be issued on the spot,” he added.
BBMP Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts have been asked to issue the necessary eligibility certificates to students going to foreign countries and those who need to travel to get employed in other countries based on the verification of documents.
