KUPMA Holds Annual General Meeting
Mangaluru, Sept 2, 2024: The Karnataka Unaided PU College Managements Association (KUPMA) held its annual general meeting for the 2023-2024 term at the Sheshadripuram College auditorium in Bengaluru.
The event was inaugurated by K.C. Nayak, Honorary President of KUPMA, along with Dr. M. Mohan Alva, the President, and Professor Narendra L. Nayak, the Secretary.
Professor Narendra L. Nayak presented the annual report for the 2023-2024 term, while Subrahmanya Nattoja, a member of the executive committee, outlined the financial expenditures for the fiscal year.
Dr. M. Mohan Alva discussed strategies for strengthening the KUPM executive committee across the state and integrating new members into the association. He emphasized the importance of effectively addressing the issues with the government and called for all committee members to work collaboratively.
The meeting was hosted by Dr. Devaraj BK, the Bengaluru Secretary. Key figures present included Kirtan Kumar, President of North Bengaluru District, Dr. Jayaram Shetty from South Bengaluru District, and members of the state KUPMA committee, such as Dr. Sudhakar Shetty, Yuvraj Jain, and Vishwanath Sheshachal, along with other notable attendees like Ramesh Kauduru and B.A. Nazeer.
The vice-president of KUPMA Bengaluru, Dilip, expressed gratitude to all participants. Members from various districts of Karnataka attended the meeting, offering their suggestions and feedback.
