Navy organizes Swarnim Vijay Varsh Motorcycle expedition
16 personnel from Karwar Naval Base participated in the expedition covering a distance of 750 Km
Karwar, Dec 21, 2021: A motorcycle expedition was organized by Naval Ship Repair Yard (Karwar) to commemorate ‘Swamim Vijay Varsh’.
A total of 16 personnel from Karwar Naval Base participated in the expedition from Dec 17 to 20 covering a distance of 750 Km across Belgaum, Bijapur and Hubbali.

As part of activities associated, the riders rally created awareness amongst the people enroute about the stellar role played by Indian Armed Forces in 1971 War. The team visited Rashtriya Military School Belgaum, Sainik School Bijapur and NCC unit at Hubbali.
They interacted with school children and NCC cadets apart from paying homage to the Veterans of Armed Forces. The expedition was also aimed at instilling a spirit of adventure and esprit-de-corps within the participated personnel.
