Karnataka lifts night curfew
Udupi, Nov 05, 2021: With the number of Covid cases decreasing, the state government has declared to withdraw Night Curfew.
The state government had imposed night curfew in the state when the number of cases had increased during the second wave. But with the positivity rate seeing a steep dip in the state, the state government has issued an order withdrawing night curfew.
“Night Curfew which is being imposed from 10 pm to 5 am is herewith withdrawn,” the order issued on November 5 stated.
“Horse racing is permitted to resume strictly adhering to Covid appropriate behavior and SOPs issued by Health and Family Welfare Department,” the order added.
The number of racing patrons shall be strictly as per the seating capacity of the venue. Only fully vaccinated people with Covid vaccine will be allowed entry into such premises.
